Job Description

• Assess patients’ nutritional needs and recommend appropriate dietary plans.
• Provide individualized nutritional care and quality meals for hospitalized patients.
• Consult with physicians to design and adjust diet plans based on medical needs.
• Develop and implement modified diets for patients with specific conditions.
• Educate patients and families on healthy eating and nutritional habits.
• Supervise food preparation and meal service to ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Inspect meals to confirm accuracy, presentation, nutrient balance, and temperature.
• Monitor and record patients’ diet checklists and maintain dietary office records.
• Formulate and manage nasogastric (NG) and PEG feeds according to physician’s instructions and caloric requirements.
• Coordinate recipe development, menu planning, and standardization for food services.
• Inspect and evaluate nutritional value of food items served.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, dietetic assistants, and service aides in diet and food service management.
• Ensure patient-centered care that respects cultural and individual dietary values.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and hand hygiene practices.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives in dietary and food service management.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent shall be responsible for implementing food-safety and quality requirements at company distribution center; handling complaints in the region, while visiting customers to identify root cause of such complaints; ensuring food-safety, quality and regulatory requirements at company owned outlets and training of staff in region. The candidate must possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Systems & Compliance:

• Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRC, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations and customer standards
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for audits, certifications, and inspections

Product Quality Assurance:

• Monitor and review production processes to ensure consistency and quality of finished products and
• Establish and track quality KPIs (e.g., defect rates, customer complaints, yield)
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for quality issues

Team Leadership & Training:

• Manage QA/QC staff including training, development, and performance evaluations
• Foster a culture of quality, hygiene, and continuous improvement on the shop floor

Audit Management:

• Prepare for and lead internal and external quality audits (regulatory, customer, third-party)
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) post-audit

Laboratory & Testing Oversight:

• Supervise product and raw material testing for microbiological, sensory, and physical attributes
• Approve raw materials and finished products for release based on testing results

Supplier & Raw Material Management:

• Evaluate and qualify suppliers to ensure ingredient quality
• Work with procurement and R&D teams to resolve ingredient-related quality issues

Customer Satisfaction:

• Investigate and respond to customer complaints and non-conformance reports
• Coordinate product traceability and recall procedures when required
