Job Description

The candidate will analyze and monitor daily production targets and breakdowns to achieve the set production objectives for each workstation, monitor and ensure all the personnel adheres to work instructions and procedures for optimizing machine efficiencies, controlling waste, and determining and analyzing yield, Identify and analyze the machine breakdowns, with intimations to the technical team for corrective and preventive maintenance, oversee the line start-up and shutdown procedures to ensure the product is within specification, planning and organizing the shift employees to achieve daily production targets and maintain a positive, supportive, and appreciative attitude, have strong knowledge of FSMS compliance.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance and Control

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and report findings to management.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Review and update quality documentation, including manuals, procedures, and work instructions.
• Oversee corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to address quality deficiencies.

Safety Management

• Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees.
• Maintain safety records and documentation, including incident reports and safety audits.
• Provide training and support to staff on quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.
• Mentor and guide employees in quality and safety best practices.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and safety regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Proficiency in using quality and safety management software/tools.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

What We're Looking For

• Nationality Indian Preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in…Food Related organizations in Quality Department
• Bachelor’s in food science or equivalent
• Well aware of ISO 22000
• Well aware of HACCP
• Can establish, implement, maintain and update the HACCP system
• Extra Ordinary Training skills
• Well aware of Microsoft Office
• Willing to accept challenging situation
