Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development activities for new food product formulations, focusing on the confectionery and grocery segments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative product concepts, considering market trends and consumer preferences.
- Manage and coordinate product testing, sensory evaluation, and analysis to ensure quality and consistency.
- Optimize processes and formulations to enhance product performance, shelf life, and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support to departments such as production, quality assurance, and marketing, ensuring smooth product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the food industry and specifically in confectionery and grocery.
- Knowledge of food ingredients, formulation techniques, and food manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis software/tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
