Let's give you a quick sneak peek into the life of a Senior Research & Development Executive

You will be responsible for managing the research and development activities related to Meat industry products in our spice manufacturing company. You will play a critical role in driving innovation, creating new products, improving existing products and ensuring the highest quality standards. This position requires strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of the Meat industry.

Things you will be doing as Senior Research & Development Executive

  • Manage the R&D activities for meat products, including ideation, formulation, development, and optimization of new flavors and seasoning blends
  • Conduct market research and stay up to date with the latest industry trends, consumer preferences and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for product development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, marketing, and sales to ensure smooth product development and launch processes
  • Design and conduct experiments, sensory evaluations, and consumer tests to evaluate the performance and acceptability of new products and make data-driven decisions
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvement and suggest modifications as necessary
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, vendors, and research institutions to leverage their expertise, resources and technologies for product development and innovation
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and food safety regulations throughout the product development process
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, ingredients and processing techniques related to meat products and implement relevant advancements in R&D practices

What are we looking for in you?

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 05 years of experience in research and development, with a focus on Meat products in the food industry
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and Hygiene requirements as per global food standards
